Content Warnings

I write fantasy stories with magical elements in imaginary worlds, but my books also include themes that some readers may find distressing.

I believe stories should be immersive, but also that readers should be empowered to make their own decisions about what content they consume, and to that end I want you to be able to make an informed decision about whether my books are right for you.

Below is a list per book by series of content warnings. There may be SPOILERS below in terms of secrets and twists and what happens next, so if you wound up here from curiosity and don't want to know what cannot be unknown, turn away now...

Royal

This novel contains:

Assassination and armed attacks; on-page combat; some injury detail.
Pain-inducing magic during a trial (simulated torture).
Kidnapping/forced relocation; panic, fear, identity stress.
Authoritarian control: disappearances, emergency powers.
